I'm sure he probably doesn't want to hear this, but I consider Travis Sago to be one of the top gurus in Internet marketing today.
When someone at one of my forums, either 5 Bucks a Day or Earn1KaDay asks for a suggestion about how to start from scratch earning their first income through Internet marketing, one of my first suggestions is to follow the Bum Marketing method that Travis teaches.
A person can do that without knowing how to set up a web site, a pay per click campaign, or anything else. All the person has to do is find a product to promote (such as on Clickbank or Commission Junction), write an article of around 400 to 600 words reviewing or just plain talking about the product, and submit the article to a few of the top article directories.
Do that enough times and you're bound to have some of your articles wind up listed highly on Google, which will cause traffic from your article to flow through to the merchant you're promoting, and then an occasional sale for which you'll earn a commission.

It doesn't sound like much, but when you think about it, you could easily write 5 or more articles a day once you get the hang of it. Do that for just 6 months and you have around 900 articles out in circulation. If they're earning you $20 per month each, that's $18,000 a month. Heck, a lot of people would be thrilled if they were only earning $5 per article per month, that would still get you $4,500 a month, not a bad second income.
And that's after only 6 months.
